This is Oakura, 10 minutes out of New Plymouth.

This was the sunset on Sunday night AFTER I mucked up my plane back to Wellington. Well worth it I think :)

Flying out the next day, I was pretty disappointed that I wouldn't get a photo of the mountain before I left, but THEN!

So long but not farewell.

What better way to start my travels than a picture of my wee cousin and his aeroplane?
I've just spent my last weekend in Taranaki with the family for what I expect will be a long while, and the sun has peeped out from the fog!
