One of the awesome things about London is how many awesome bands play awesome music for awesome prices!
I saw Pains of Being Pure at Heart on Thursday night which was AWESOMELY AWESOME, but I can’t get over how reserved people are at gigs here. It’s totally bizarre. A band which I would usually be bopping up and down too didn’t even have people rocking out at the front. MENTAL. The week before I went to Cloud Nothings and people were too cool for school, minor head nodding being the only acknowledgement that music was playing pretty much.
On that note, the venue was at King’s College Student Union bar, and man, Victoria Uni needs to get its A into G and sort it out! I realised I didn’t once go to the Student Union Hall in NZ the whole time I was at uni. On that note, please enjoy Cloud Nothings strange video:
Oh, and I booked tickets to Madrid, and I’m starting to plan my whirlwind Easter tour of Europe, so fingers crossed I will have some more awesome photos
