I made brownies!

From the NZ Women’s Weekly website funnily enough. But they are definitely the best brownies ever.

And I made Nigel Slater’s banana, chocolate and hazelnut cake, which is amazing, but didn’t last long enough to get a photo of.

I’m looking forward to the weekend, we’re going ice skating tonight, and there are some Christmas markets on which I’d like to go to in the East End, and next week I’m catching up with old school friends, and want to go do touristy things like the Natural History Museum and maybe the Tate etc etc!

On Wednesday I caught up with my beautiful friend Beth, who I hadn’t seen since I was 12 or 13. Weirdly, neither of us have changed much (except in all the right ways), and were giggling like mad by the end of the night, as per usual. Funny how there are some people you can click with straight away after almost a decade. We met up at St Christopher’s Place, which had millions of fairy lights everywhere – so pretty! I got a new lense for Christmas from mum and dad which takes very pretty pictures. See examples a, b, c and d!
